How DARE offers are made
RCSI reserves approximately 6% of School Leaver places for students applying under the DARE Scheme.
RC001 Medicine x 2 reduced points DARE places.
RC004 Physiotherapy x 1 reduced points DARE place.
RC005 Pharmacy x 2 reduced points DARE places.
To be considered for reduced points DARE places you must:
- Be eligible for DARE
- Present a minimum of six subjects (2 x H5 and 4 x H7 / O6) in the Leaving Certificate to include Irish, English, Maths, another language, one lab science (Chemistry, Physics, Biology, Physics / Chemistry or Agricultural Science – must be Chemistry for RC005 Pharmacy) and two other recognised subjects
- Meet minimum specific course requirements detailed here:
- Achieve a minimum of 480 points
- Present HPAT for RC001 Medicine.
